CEO & Founder - Gracia M. Johnson

Gracia M. Johnson is a new entrepreneur, student leader, and public health advocate. She is the founder and chief executive officer of Edava, a wellness company dedicated to cultivating healthier people and stronger communities through ethically sourced products and community engagement.

Originally from the South Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, Johnson is pursuing a degree in International Business and Management at Dickinson College, where she also studies Spanish and Health Studies. A Posse Foundation Leadership Scholar, she was elected Freshman Class President for the 2025–2026 academic year and is also a Sexual Health Peer Educator.

Before attending Dickinson College, Johnson studied theatre at the Chicago Academy for the Arts and completed a journalism intensive at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. She also spent several years as the host of Straight Talk on WVON 1690, where she interviewed community leaders and discussed issues affecting Chicago’s youth.

Through Edava, Johnson aims to redefine wellness by making healthy living more accessible through thoughtfully sourced products, educational programming, and community-centered experiences. Her work focuses on the intersection of sustainability, and public health, with a long-term vision of building a global regenerative lifestyle brand that empowers individuals to live healthier, more connected lives.
